A legendary setting

Its name sounds like a promise, that of tasting the charm of the place and its cuisine Peerless.

Nestled in the splendor of an old princely residence erected in the 19th century for the concubines of Pacha El Glaoui, the place vibrates in unison with the antique dealers and second-hand dealers who mark out on both sides of Dar El Bacha district . Relieved of all folk clichés, the address plays the card of the purity with a patio tinted of rose, a decoration made of wood ornate, lanterns and spectacular bay windows.

Everything here invites you to live an unexpected experience : from the lighted entrance of a thousand lanterns to a decorated with velvet in the small salons where snuggle up after dark, lulled by the bewitching tunes of a gnaoua quartet.

The table deliciously celebrates traditional and contemporary Moroccan cuisine in through a tasting menu that reveals the full extent of gastronomy local.

Everything from the balance of flavors to the refinement of the presentation is a invitation to the tasting.

Assortment of Moroccan salads, quail tagine with dates, cockerel with quinces, or even royal veal tagine with dry fruit, the Lotus Privilege cuisine offers a real festival of flavors. These refined dishes, it’s Meriem, the chef, who sublimates them by a high-end aesthetic achievement. Without forgetting the home specialties: tanjia marrakchia, the real one, – the beef shank cooked in a terracotta pot, shoulder of steamed lamb just browned in the oven, royal couscous and onion compote and caramelized graps.

On the sweet side, the desserts palette is deliciously regressive. Among the musts to taste: the panna cotta with orange blossom coulis and the pastilla with milk and almonds.

A bewitching show

Emblematic address of the Marrakech dinner-shows, the Lotus Privilege vibrates every evening to the rhythm of a spectacular show. Dining here is a celebration: a whirlwind of flavors led by a group of Gnaoui performers and an oriental dancer who, every evening, reveals its finest attire.

At aperitif time, the traditional quartet heats up the atmosphere of the patio by swinging the best of its Arab-Andalusian repertoire to the sound of krakebs and guembri. In a terribly festive atmosphere, called to continue until the end of evening, singing and choreographies are linked to world music rhythms. Enters then, on the stage,  the belly dancer who dares to be feminine and the game of seduction with grace and elegance. With her clear eyes, her blond hair and her bright smile, she jostles the traditional image of the belly dancer. Or the promise of a trip to the east sensual and fantasized.
